How to Pray Eid Ul Fitr Namaz at Home in Lockdown
Because of closing the mosques in the framework of
preventive measures to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, and the announcement by several Islamic countries of imposing a comprehensive ban on Eid days, the performance
of Eid prayers in mosques and squares.
Because our true religion is one of the most important
purposes of gathering hearts and spreading joy and delight among Muslims, so
Allah has ordained in many acts of worship, including Eid prayer.
Hence, many people wondered how to perform the Eid prayer at
home in the congregation with the family or alone, without transgression or
mistakes.

First: The legality of Eid prayer at home:
If it is impossible to perform the Eid prayer outdoors for
an obstacle as it is happening now because of the Corona epidemic, then its
ruling is the ruling for those who missed the Eid prayer in the open area or
the mosque, where it is praying in congregation with the people of his home or
alone, according to the well-known characters as we will explain in this

that This indicates that the action of Anas bin Malik - may
Allah be pleased with him - if he missed the Eid prayer, he gathered his family
and sons, then Abdullah bin Abi Otba, his servant, performed two prostrations (rakas) with them and he prays in them, such
as the prayer of the people of the cities and their magnification saying Allah is great in loud voice ( Allah
Akbar) .

Second:
The time of Eid prayer:
The time of Eid
prayer starts from the sun rising up in a spear, i.e. fifteen minutes after
sunrise, and until the time of sunrise.
Third: What do you do before the prayer?
First: wash yourself and your children, and then decorate them
with the best clothes and the best perfume.
Second: eat some dates with your family and sons before
sitting in a prayer hall, as it was like Mohammed peace be upon him, he doesn’t
pray until he eats dates in the morning.
Then, sit with your family in your prayers site at home, and
raise your voice with the known form of Allah is great or
(Allah Akbar) takbir, until the time of prayer begins, then stop saying Allah is great or
(Allah Akbar) and perform the Eid
prayer.
Fourth: How to pray Eid?
If the time of
prayer comes, stand and your family line up to pray without (the second call of
prayer), then the Imam takes a barrier from the wall or something else.
The family lines up behind the leader ( Imam), according to
each case, as shown in pictures. (The group's prayer cases segment at home).
The Eid prayer is two prostrations ( rakas) : The
leader(Imam) begins his prayer with Allah Akbar with (the opening takbir) and
then recites the opening duaa (optional), then he performs six times of Allah is
great( Allah Akbar) takbir , then he recites Al-Fatihah and Surat
al-Ala, then he completes the prostration the raka according to the well-known
prayer.
And in the second raka: he stands then says
pronouncing Takbir, and then he says five times Allah is great or (Allah Akbar).
He raises his hands with every takbir, and he doesn’t hurry,
so he may say Allah is great, glorify. Rather, to extol Allah among the takbir.
Then he recites Al-Fatihah and Surah Al-Ghashiyyah, and he
can also recite in the two rakas in Surat Q and Al-Qamar
Then the leader ( Imam) of you completes the prayer and
conveys, Although, he does not deliver
Eid sermon (khudba) on Eid, so Eid prayer
at home doesn’t include a sermon.(khudba)
Summary:
If it is prayed in its known time, in the same well-known performance,
as a group or individually, each according to his condition, without a
sermon.
Fifth: Beware of wrongdoing:
The joy of the feast never completes except by obeying
Allah, doing and performing what he has commanded and the verse is enacted with
the voice of a reciter. "And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has won
a great victory.
"
- Be careful, not to fall into this wrongdoing, your reward
of the present life will be lost and your joy will be extinguished
-Avoid staying up late during Eid night, so as not to miss
dawn prayer or Eid prayer
- The omission of the Sunnahs of the Prophet Mohammed, peace be
upon him: from adorning and apply perfume, eating dates, and saying, Allah is
great or Allah Akbar( Takbir)
-Don’t let the home quarantine prevent you from
congratulating your loved ones and relatives, because the social media apps did
not leave an excuse for one who severs the bonds of kinship.
